Working draft pending external counsel review. This page is the Sprint 019 v1.0.0 engineering working draft of Mamalytics’ California “Do Not Sell or Share” disclosure. It has not yet been reviewed by external counsel.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Effective date: TBD on counsel sign-off Version: 1.0.0

This page restates Mamalytics’ position on “selling” and “sharing” personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”). It exists to make that position available at a clearly labeled link in our marketing site footer, as required for businesses that serve California residents.

We do not sell your personal information

Mamalytics does not sell your personal information to anyone for money or for any other valuable consideration. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months, and we have no plans to do so.

We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising

The CCPA defines “sharing” narrowly to mean disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising — that is, targeting ads to you based on your activity across other businesses’ websites or apps.

Mamalytics does not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising and does not share your personal information for that purpose. We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs, ad-network pixels, or cross-site tracking tags in the Mamalytics mobile app or on mamalytics.app.

What we do disclose, and to whom

For full detail, see the Privacy Policy. In short, the only third parties that receive any data about you are the service providers we need to run the app — for example, our authentication provider, our AI assistant provider, our analytics provider (Mixpanel, anonymized product-telemetry only), and our cloud hosting provider. These disclosures are not “sales” or “sharing” under the CCPA, because the recipients act on our behalf under written contracts that prohibit them from using your data for any other purpose.

You can disable anonymized product-telemetry at any time in the Mamalytics app under Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data. For users with a country code in the EU, EEA, or UK, this toggle is off by default.

How to exercise your California rights

To exercise any California right described in the Privacy Policy — including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of selling or sharing, the right to limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right to non-discrimination — email us at privacy@mamalytics.app from the email address associated with your account.

We will verify your identity (typically by confirming a code we send to that address) and respond within 45 days, as required by California law. If you do not have an account, contact us at the same address and we will work with you to verify your request.
